Window and doors ... and the bath.

Well, we have been very busy again.  External doors are in, bath is in, and all wiring is in.  We have threaded string through various rooms so that we can add more cable (i.e speakers, telephone point at a later date).

Site Supervisor

He rang yesterday to set up our first meeting on site and I had left my mobile at home, doh! Someone rang with a question about the tiles for the alfresco area, not sure what that is about.

Forgot to say that we brought 5 ceiling fans and the lady at the store only charged us for 4! Saved ourselves $130.

Ian is getting sorted for building the retaining wall, need to find someone to dig the holes. This will be our last weekend with anything happening at the block. The come and scrape the site on the 3rd and then we have a short time to put the retaining wall up before the builders return to do the concrete slab.

Build up ...

Well we had a letter from Coral to confirm our start date and the name of our site supervisor. He will apparently ring us to arrange a meeting on site where we can organise our retaining wall.

Today, Ian also received a phone call from someone at Coral to say that the laundry room sink was a bit bigger than expected, could they take 200mm from our laundry linen cupboard? We had already made it a tad smaller because we wanted the tumble dryer to have a home. We said yes, I hope it looks ok...

We took a drive up to Daisy Hill showrooms the weekend to confirm our roof tile selection because they have it (mind you, it's too late now to change our minds).
