Well it has been a busy few days at the block. The beginning of the week the plumbers were in doing their thing. Then on Wednesday the guys came to put everything in place ready for the slab to go down. Thursday was 'D' day when we finally got the slab down. We can actually visualise for the first time how the house will sit on the block.
Ian spoke with the Site Supervisor yesterday and he said we could put the other retaining wall up now if we want. All the tradies break up for Christmas next tuesday and don't return till the 11th Jan. So I guess it will be a bit quiet on our block till then.
